I went to the cinema with a few friends not knowing what we were going to watch. They had already bought me my ticket before i got there so i was hoping it wouldn't be something i won't like, but luckily it was a good film.
Its called 'Just Go With It' and it is a Comedy/Romance film. The film is basically about a plastic surgeon who convinces his assistant to pretend to be his soon to be divorced wife in order to cover up a lie he told his much younger girlfriend on a weekend trip to Hawaii. Personally, i found it quite funny and entertaining. The endings the cutest part. I don't know whether or not to give the ending away but i'm going to anyway. At the end the surgeon and his assistant confess that they love each other and live happily ever after, as they do.
This is just a rough idea of the type of style we would like our title to look like. Although this is not a definite idea we tried out a quick practice to take a look at what it would look like and whether or not it will fit in with our film.
How big can a dress get? I mean the sizes, shapes and styles amaze me. How can you possibly do anything in that. Another thing to look out for are the dresses at the end even though their not really dresses... more like bits of cloth! The DANCING! I have no words.
Here is a rough idea of the style we would like our production company to look like. The one you see below is just a rough practice we made to see whether or not we like the idea. We will finalise this by changing colours, positioning and the girl in the picture (Me) will be dressed as a doll, hence why its called 'Doll House'.
I went to see The Rite on Thursday 3rd March with my media class at the cinema. It was basically about an American seminary student who traveled to Italy to take an exorcism course. I was excited about seeing this film but to be honest it wasn't really what i was expecting. It didn't meet up to my expectations. I thought it would have been scarier than it was and i would have enjoyed it a little more if it did scare me. It didn't frighten me at all, but i guess i was one of the very few who wasn't scared. It managed to scare many of the students in my class. Although the film didn't scare me i found it quite interesting mainly because i believe that things like this happen. I'm not sure about whether of not this is based on a true story but i done some research and found many websites that said the film is inspired by true events. You can see this in the beginning of the synopsis of the film which you will see below.
Below you can see more in depth information about the film which i took off a website.

"The battle against the Devil, which is the principal task of Saint Michael the Archangel, is still being fought today, because the Devil is still alive and active in the world." -Pope John Paul II "The Rite" is a supernatural thriller that uncovers the Devil's reach to even one of the holiest places on Earth. Inspired by true events, the film follows seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O'Donoghue), who is sent to study exorcism at the Vatican in spite of his own doubts about the controversial practice and even his own faith. Wearing his deep skepticism like armor, Michael challenges his superiors to look to psychiatry, rather than demons, in treating the possessed. Only when he's sent to apprentice with the unorthodox Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins)--a legendary priest who has performed thousands of exorcisms--does Michael's armor begin to fall. As he is drawn into a troubling case that seems to transcend even Father Lucas's skill, he begins to glimpse a phenomenon science can't explain or control...and an evil so violent and terrifying that it forces him to question everything he believes. Directed by Mikael Håfström ("1408"), "The Rite" stars Oscar (R) winner Anthony Hopkins ("Silence of the Lambs"), Colin O'Donoghue in his feature film debut, Alice Braga ("Predators"), Toby Jones ("Frost/Nixon"), with Ciarán Hinds ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2"), and Rutger Hauer ("Batman Begins," "Blade Runner"). Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson ("The Exorcism of Emily Rose") produced the film under their Contrafilm banner. The screenplay is by Michael Petroni ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"), suggested by the book by Matt Baglio. Richard Brener, Merideth Finn and Robert Bernacchi serve as executive producers, with Mark Tuohy co-producing. New Line Cinema presents, a Contrafilm production, a Mikael Håfström film, "The Rite."
